What the plant is like

Expect dense buds: Weedmaps describes dense, heavy nugs from a medium-to-tall plant, AllBud dense, mossy green buds with dark orange hairs and amber trichomes, and Westword buds like misshapen pebbles, shamrock to forest green.1,6,7 Two of the best-known cuts were picked from many plants: Fig Farms hunted its Emerald Cup winner from seed, and Carmel selected its version out of 100 phenotypes.8,9

What to watch for

Few growers publish details, and the ones who do disagree on difficulty: ILGM rates it moderate, and the Australian autoflower is sold as easy.3,5 Weedmaps says it does best indoors, and Fig Farms calls Blue Face, the sister phenotype from the same seed pack, the most difficult flower it grows.1,10,11

Seeds and the law in the US

Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.12 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.12,13 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
